A Successful Multinational Distribution Plan Requires Portuguese Translators
In the next article I will introduce successful U.S. companies that have collaborated with specific foreign partners and in order to be on equal terms with them they have needed specific language translators to assist them in the communication process. The first company is G&B, Inc. and it is the one of the largest U.S. distributors of industrial, medical, and specialty gases and related hardware. Also the company is a distributor of products like refrigerants and ammonia products, safety products and process chemicals, and it produces liquid carbon dioxide, dry ice and nitrous oxide. Growing almost overnight following a series of acquisitions after its foundation in 1992, the company has now one of the nation’s best organized networks, which includes approximately 1,000 locations such as distribution centers, gas laboratories, production facilities and local branches employing more than 10,000 people. The founder of the company, Michael Bronson, who is also its CEO, decided to spread the company activity by expanding it to foreign markets in 2007. The Japanese company Nikiroshi Gas was the first company that he signed a contract with as all the necessary documentation was translated by Hiroko Jameson, the company's Japanese Translator. Today G&B, Inc. continues to develop its distribution network by adding new products and services and new distribution channels to its traditional offering of gases and welding supplies and equipment.

All of the company’s airplanes are equipped with Wi-Fi service and the company was one of the first one to introduce ticketless travel, which is part of its strategy for constant development and diversification, as the company has always striven to remain competitive by outclassing its competitors and keeping ahead of them. The company has also been a leader in the safety of its passengers as accidents have rarely happened to AvantAir's aircraft.
